“At times I’m taken by my art as I process. I allow this as I let go of preconceived ideas that might restrict my creativity in expressions. This phenomenon steers me into both the past and future, expressing in the now both an esoteric message and an impermanence that seems as a constant, allowing the ephemeral to proceed in that moment.
“You might say the moment is more important than the idea to me. Overall I’m not inspired by ideas as much as I’m swept away by the process. This is how I find my way through my work.”
